Projects
A large Thai agricultural cooperative that exports tropical fruits needed to expand their refrigerated storage capacity. They contracted an engineering firm to design and build a new 1000-square meter cold room near their packing facility in Chonburi.
The refrigeration cold room was planned to precisely control the temperature between 0-5°C to extend the shelf life of fruits like mangoes, pineapples and lychees during peak harvest seasons.
Special insulated sandwich panel walls and roof would provide efficient thermal insulation. A variable speed refrigeration system integrated with airflow management systems was designed for homogeneous climate control. The customized layout allowed efficient storage of different fruit types, optimizing storage capacity and operational efficiency.
With ARTECO's expertise in constructing specialized fruit refrigeration cold rooms, the client was able to successfully preserve the freshness, extend the shelf life, and maintain the high quality of their exported fruits from Thailand
